GLAXOR Heavy-Duty Stainless Steel Surface-Mount Fixed Routel

The GLAXOR Surface-Mount Fixed Routel utilizes a high-strength, friction-based compression mechanism to safely secure heavy glass panels. Unlike articulating or flush-fit models, this routel provides a rigid anchor and requires only a standard, straight-drilled hole through the glass.

Installation begins by passing the central threaded shaft through the glass. Crucially, a protective white nylon sleeve sits inside the hole to prevent the solid steel thread from ever touching the fragile inner edge of the glass. Two heavy-duty blue elastomer gaskets sandwich the glass on either side.

The front cap, which features a flat back profile, rests securely against the outer gasket on the exterior face of the glass. The assembly is then securely fastened from behind using the integrated hex nut, lock washers, and structural bolts, typically attaching to a multi-arm spider fitting or a structural fin. As torque is applied, the gaskets compress to form a high-friction grip, providing a rigid, completely immobile point-fixing that safely distributes the weight of the glass.
