The GLAXOR Square Wall-Mount Glass Hinge operates on a highly secure clamping and pivoting system designed to safely transfer the weight of a heavy glass door directly to a structural wall.

The installation begins by securely anchoring the solid metal base plate to the wall (or structural frame) using heavy-duty screws through the countersunk holes. On the glass panel, a specific notch or cutout is required. The two opposing plates of the hinge clamp firmly around this cutout.

Inside these metal clamping plates sit precision-cut, high-grip polymer gaskets. When the internal hex-head machine screws are tightened, these gaskets compress evenly. This compression creates a powerful friction grip that locks the glass tightly in place while acting as a protective barrier, preventing the hard metal from directly touching and cracking the fragile glass.
