Implementing a high-efficiency industrial magnetic destoner is the most reliable way to separate magnetic dirt, mud balls, and stones from your agricultural bulk products. At IP Magnate, our magnetic destoning machines are expertly engineered to purify food grains, pulses, and seeds where traditional pneumatic (air) destoners fail. Because mud balls and certain stones have the exact same weight and size as the good grains, air separators cannot remove them. However, these soil clods naturally contain small amounts of iron oxide (paramagnetic properties), allowing our ultra-strong magnetic rollers to attract and extract them, ensuring your final food product is 100% pure and stone-free.
How Our Magnetic Destoner Machine Works
The operation of our industrial magnetic destoner relies on extreme magnetic forces generated by a specialized high-gradient roller. The machine is typically integrated into the final cleaning stages of a milling or sorting plant.
The dry bulk agricultural product is fed evenly onto a continuous, thin conveyor belt via a vibratory feeder. As the material travels over the magnetic head roller (which is packed with ultra-powerful Rare Earth magnets), the clean, non-magnetic grains fall naturally forward into the accepted product chute. Meanwhile, the mud balls, laterite stones, and any fine ferrous impurities are magnetically attracted to the roller. They stick to the belt for a fraction of a second longer and are carried safely underneath, discharging into a separate reject bin.
