Installation begins by sliding the central clamping channel of the spider fitting over the structural glass fin. High-tensile bolts pass through the fin (via pre-drilled holes) and through the fitting’s integrated thick protective nylon spacers. When tightened down, the heavy-duty cap nuts compress the two inner fitting plates securely against the fin. Crucially, the nylon spacers ensure the rigid stainless steel never makes direct contact with the glass, preventing point-stress and cracking.

Once the base is securely clamped to the fin, the two extending arms provide robust anchor points for the exterior glass panels. Point-fixing routels (sold separately) are installed through the eyelets of these arms to grip the exterior glass.
