Installation begins by securely bolting or chemically anchoring the thick cylindrical base deeply into a solid primary substrate, such as reinforced concrete or structural steel framework. The heavy glass panel, pre-drilled with a corresponding hole, is carefully positioned over the threaded top section of the standoff. Protective isolation gaskets sit perfectly inside and around the glass hole to ensure the rigid steel never makes direct contact with the glass.

Finally, the top cap is threaded on.
