The GLAXOR Frameless Glass Door Patch Lock operates on a highly secure, clamp-based deadbolt system engineered specifically for the unique constraints of glass doors.

Installation requires a standardized rectangular cutout on the bottom or center edge of the glass panel. The solid metal inner core of the patch lock is separated into two halves and clamped tightly around this cutout using high-tensile hex screws. Thick, protective polymer gaskets sit directly between the metal core and the glass. When tightened, these gaskets compress, creating a massive friction grip that holds the heavy lock assembly securely without cracking the fragile glass edge.

At the heart of the fitting is a mechanical cylinder. When a user inserts and turns the key, the internal cam rotates, smoothly driving the solid steel deadbolt outward. Depending on the mounting position, this bolt shoots securely into a floor-mounted strike plate (for bottom locks) or a wall/glass-mounted strike box (for center locks), effectively immobilizing the door.
