The GLAXOR Ceiling Mount Top Pivot is a fixed structural anchor that serves as the upper hinge axis for a swinging glass door.

During installation, the flat rectangular base plate is screwed tightly directly into the structural ceiling, a solid door header, or an upper metal frame using high-tensile screws. The countersunk holes ensure these screws sit perfectly flush with the plate. Once mounted, the solid cylindrical metal pin points straight downward.

The door itself is equipped with a “Top Patch Fitting” clamped onto its upper corner. This patch fitting contains a specific circular socket. To hang the door, this socket slides directly up and over the downward-facing Top Pivot pin. When a user pushes or pulls the door open, the floor spring controls the bottom, while the top of the door smoothly and frictionlessly rotates around this stationary Ceiling Mount Top Pivot. This simple yet highly engineered mechanism holds the door perfectly upright while allowing secure, continuous movement.
