The GLAXOR L-Patch Fitting with Pivot Pin serves as a critical structural node for complex frameless glass setups. It is installed at the upper corner junction where a stationary side glass panel meets a stationary horizontal top panel (transom).

Installation requires precise, L-shaped standard cutouts in the adjoining stationary glass panels. The solid metal inner core of the fitting is disassembled and securely clamped onto these cutouts using high-tensile hex screws. Heavy-duty polymer gaskets sit directly between the hard metal core and the glass. When tightened, these gaskets compress to create a massive friction grip that holds the two fixed panels rigidly together, preventing any structural shifting.

Integrated into the bottom edge of this fitting is a solid metal pivot pin facing downward. This pin slots directly into the receptacle of the Top Patch Fitting located on the swinging door below.
