GLAXOR Glass Door Strike Box | Premium Polished Stainless Steel Receiver Fitting

The GLAXOR Glass Door Strike Box is designed specifically for “double door” installations, acting as the secure receiving point (the “strike”) for a center patch lock. It is installed on the stationary (or inactive) glass door leaf, directly opposite the active locking mechanism.

Installation requires a standardized rectangular cutout on the meeting edge of the stationary glass panel. The solid metal inner core of the strike box is separated into two halves and clamped tightly around this cutout using high-tensile hex screws. Thick, protective polymer gaskets sit directly between the metal core and the glass. When tightened, these gaskets compress, creating a massive friction grip that holds the fitting firmly in place without fracturing the glass.

The core of the fitting features a reinforced central recess. When the dual doors are closed and the user turns the key in the active patch lock, a solid steel deadbolt shoots out and anchors directly into this Strike Box recess. This effectively locks the two glass panels together. Finally, the polished stainless steel cover plates snap over the core, concealing all mounting screws and creating a tamper-resistant, elegant finish.
