The GLAXOR Heavy-Duty Concealed 90kg Single Cylinder Floor Spring operates on an advanced hydro-mechanical system recessed directly into the floor.

When a user pushes or pulls the door open, the floor-mounted pivot spindle rotates. This rotation physically compresses a heavy-duty internal steel spring while simultaneously displacing hydraulic oil through a network of internal valves. When the user lets go of the door, the compressed spring naturally expands, forcing the door back to its neutral, closed position (0 degrees).

To prevent the heavy door from snapping shut dangerously, the hydraulic oil acts as a dampener. As the spring pushes the door closed, the oil is forced back through adjustable precision valves. By turning these adjustment screws on the top faceplate, installers can fine-tune exactly how fast the oil flows, thereby giving complete control over how smoothly the door swings closed and how gently it latches.
