The GLAXOR Stainless Steel Floor Door Stop operates on a highly effective kinetic energy absorption principle. The unit is permanently anchored to the floor substrate using a central, heavy-duty mounting screw. Crucially, a secondary small metal pin at the base pierces the floor, physically preventing the dome from rotating when struck off-center.
When a door is swung open, the leading edge (whether wood, metal, or glass) strikes the high-density black rubber ring instead of the adjacent wall. This engineered rubber buffer compresses upon impact, absorbing and dispersing the kinetic energy of the moving door. This brings the door to a soft, silent, and damage-free halt, effectively protecting the door’s surface, the wall behind it, and the structural integrity of the door hinges.
